- **Role Overview**:
- As an HR Recruiter at Shimano, you will play a pivotal role in sustaining our talent pipeline for core engineering functions. You will own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing specialized technical talent to facilitating a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. This is a high-impact role that serves as the face of the Shimano brand to the local talent market.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Manage Full-Cycle Recruitment**: Lead the end-to-end hiring process, including job posting, proactive sourcing, candidate screening, interview coordination, and the preparation of employment contracts.
- **Drive Engineering Talent Acquisition**: Manage a high-volume desk of 15+ active requisitions, with a primary focus on traditional engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing roles.
- **Facilitate Onboarding & Orientation**: Personally lead and facilitate monthly orientation programs to ensure every new hire is successfully integrated into the Shimano culture and operations.
- **Represent the Brand Externally**: Act as a brand ambassador by organizing and representing Shimano at external events, including campus recruitment drives and career fairs.
- **Data & Reporting**: Utilize recruitment metrics to track time-to-fill and funnel efficiency, contributing to the continuous improvement of our talent acquisition strategies.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a track record of managing the process from initial sourcing through to offer management and contract administration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of active requisitions effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in hiring for traditional engineering or industrial roles (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead orientation sessions and represent the company at public events.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly regarding employment documentation and operational compliance.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Experience in the manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in using data visualization tools (such as Power BI) to maintain recruitment dashboards and reporting.
