- **Role Overview**:
- As a Project Manager, you will serve as the execution backbone of our application onboarding and compliance function. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will hold a dual mandate: leading a dedicated team while personally owning the end-to-end delivery of audit readiness and security synchronization.
- This is a high-visibility role where you will bridge the gap between technical security requirements and operational execution, ensuring that governance standards are met without compromising delivery timelines.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Lead Audit & Compliance Readiness**: Act as the primary lead for ISO 27001 standards within the department. You will proactively gather evidence, track remediation efforts, and support control testing to ensure a constant state of audit readiness.
- **Drive Outcome Ownership**: Take full accountability for the successful delivery of application onboarding projects. You will navigate roadblocks, manage vendor relationships, and ensure all milestones are achieved with precision.
- **People Leadership**: Directly manage, mentor, and develop a specialized team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth within the project management office (PMO).
- **Manage Security Synchronization**: Facilitate Information Security/Systems (ISS) synchronization meetings, translating technical discussions into actionable project plans and ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders.
- **Oversee Operational Lifecycle**: Manage the resource onboarding process and maintain meticulous governance for hardware logistics and project artifacts.
- **Maintain Project Transparency**: Utilize project management tools (Jira) to monitor project health and deliver accurate, real-time status reporting and documentation to senior leadership.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Demonstrated project management experience within a regulated banking or financial services environment.
- Proven expertise in managing audit and compliance workflows, with specific experience in ISO 27001 evidence gathering and control testing.
- Prior experience in a formal people management role, with the ability to lead and develop direct reports.
- Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions regarding Information Security (InfoSec) artifacts.
- A hands-on, builder mindset—comfortable owning operational tasks and logistics alongside strategic project delivery.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- High proficiency in Jira for project tracking and artifact management.
- Prior experience with resource management systems.
- Experience in Risk Advisory or consulting with a focus on financial services clients.
