**HR Manager (Internal TA or HR Operations focus) — Confidential Search**

**About the Role**
Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will be one of two key HR Managers instrumental in building the company’s internal People function from the ground up. You will lead a team to establish foundational systems that will support the organization as it scales. The company is looking for leaders to focus on one of two critical areas: **Internal Talent Acquisition** or **HR Operations**.
Key responsibilities include:
* **Architecting Foundations:** Designing and implementing scalable recruitment or HR operational workflows tailored for a fast-paced, remote startup environment.
* **Leadership and Mentorship:** Managing and coaching a team of HR professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
* **Compliance Excellence:** Serving as the internal authority on the Singapore employment landscape, ensuring all policies and contracts are 100% aligned with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations.
* **Strategic Growth:** Depending on your focus, you will either spearhead internal hiring for technical and commercial teams or oversee the full employee lifecycle, including payroll administration and policy development.
* **Remote Culture Optimization:** Continuously improving remote-first operations to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for all team members.
**Requirements**
* **Experience:** Demonstrated experience in a mid-level HR management or leadership role with a proven track record of managing direct reports.
* **Compliance Expertise:** Expert-level proficiency in the Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations, with the ability to translate legal requirements into practical company policies.
* **Specialization:** Proven expertise in either **Internal Talent Acquisition** (specifically scaling technical and sales teams) or **HR Generalist Operations** (payroll, compliance, and policy frameworks).
* **Remote Proficiency:** Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage teams effectively in a fully remote environment.
* **Communication:** Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience partnering closely with senior leadership.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience in a "0-to-1" startup environment, having built processes or departments from scratch.
* Previous experience within the technology or recruitment industries.
* A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
