- Join our specialized repair team as a technician where you can focus 100% on the technical "craft" of repair. This is a dedicated bench-work role centered on high-level motherboard diagnostics and micro-soldering. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of technical service, specializing in complex repairs without the distractions of retail sales or customer service.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Advanced Motherboard Repair**: Perform intricate micro-soldering tasks, including IC chip replacements (charging, audio, etc.) and FPC/connector repairs on a variety of mobile devices.
- **Technical Diagnostics**: Conduct precise troubleshooting and fault-finding for hardware issues across both iOS and Android platforms.
- **Quality Assurance**: Maintain a steady output of high-quality repairs (targeting 5–8 completed units daily) while adhering to ISO and CaseTrust standards to ensure a near-zero failure rate.
- **Technical Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of repairs and interpret technical documentation to stay updated on the latest device architectures.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Demonstrated proficiency in micro-soldering and motherboard-level repairs (specifically IC chips and connectors).
- A relevant Diploma or Certificate in Electronics or Mobile Repair is essential for those building their foundation in the industry.
- Ability to work a retail-based schedule, which includes a 6-day work week and rotating shifts (typically 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM).
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required to effectively collaborate with our bilingual technical team and interpret technical documentation and schematics from regional suppliers.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Experience working in a high-volume repair environment or an Authorized Service Center (e.g., Apple, Samsung).
- Multi-brand proficiency across a wide range of smartphone and tablet models.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and standardized repair protocols.
