- **Role Overview**:
- We are seeking a dedicated Creative Specialist for a 6-month maternity cover to ensure the seamless production of our marketing and communications collateral. In this role, you will be the guardian of our visual brand, translating concepts into high-quality assets that engage our partners and the wider community.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drive Brand Consistency:** Conceptualize and design a wide range of marketing materials for digital platforms, social media, and corporate communications, ensuring all outputs align with our brand identity.
- **Lead Print Production (Final Artwork):** Manage the end-to-end print production process, including preparing Final Artwork (FA), managing bleeds and CMYK settings, and approving color proofs to ensure high-quality physical deliverables.
- **Support Multi-Channel Engagement:** Create engaging visuals for events and programmes, including banners, posters, brochures, and digital assets designed for constituent and partner engagement.
- **Empower the Wider Team:** Maintain and update a library of branded, ready-to-use templates (e.g., PowerPoint decks, programme publicity) to support the organization's daily communication needs.
- **Collaborate on Design Strategy:** Participate in digital content and design discussions to contribute perspectives that enhance our social media presence and partner outreach.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Demonstrated professional experience in a design role, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in both digital and print media.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proven technical knowledge of print production processes, including Final Artwork (FA) preparation and quality control.
- Strong alignment with and interest in the non-profit sector and social impact work.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple production deadlines independently.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Prior experience working in-house for a charity, NGO, or social enterprise.
- Basic skills in copywriting or content planning for social media.
- Experience managing corporate stationery and structured presentation templates.
