- **Role Overview**:
- We are looking for a Data Center Facility Engineer to oversee our colocation (COLO) service providers and safeguard the critical infrastructure of our Singapore sites. This is a strategic vendor governance role where you will transition from hands-on maintenance to high-level oversight, ensuring that our partners meet rigorous operational standards across power and cooling systems.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Vendor Governance & Oversight**: Manage relationships with COLO service providers to ensure critical electrical and mechanical systems are maintained to peak performance. Evaluate vendor service levels using operational data and drive continuous improvements.
- **Operational Risk Management**: Manage changes on critical systems, respond to emergent failures, and track preventative maintenance schedules to mitigate any risks to uptime and availability.
- **Capacity & Efficiency Management**: Oversee the capacity management of facility systems, including power and cooling infrastructure, ensuring the facility can scale with IT requirements.
- **Strategic Reporting**: Establish performance benchmarks and prepare detailed technical reports on infrastructure operations. You will be responsible for communicating operational status and risks effectively to global stakeholders.
- **Project Support**: Drive and implement projects aimed at improving system reliability and efficiency, while supporting design and commissioning teams on new data hall construction.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a critical facility environment, with a strong focus on Data Center (DC) settings.
- Proficiency in Business Mandarin (written and verbal) is required to effectively communicate technical operational status and provide detailed reporting to Chinese-speaking stakeholders and headquarters.
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) equipment, including UPS, Generators, Chillers, Pumps, and Cooling Towers.
- Proven ability to manage vendors, review Methods of Procedure (MOPs), and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
