- **Role Overview**:
- As the Project and Facilities Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational excellence and aesthetic standards of our 15–18 outlets in Singapore. This role offers a balanced 50/50 split between managing daily facilities maintenance (BAU) and spearheading end-to-end store renovations and makeovers. You will lead a dedicated team of 4–5 technicians and coordinators to uphold the high standards of an iconic retail brand.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Facilities Operations & Maintenance:** Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across a multi-site portfolio. You will ensure the uptime of critical assets, including refrigeration and cold chain infrastructure, to maintain the highest levels of food safety and operational continuity.
- **Project Management:** Lead renovation and store makeover projects from tenant takeover to final completion. You will develop project plans, review technical drawings, and manage timelines to minimize disruption to retail operations.
- **Strategic Vendor Management:** Source, evaluate, and manage contractors and vendors. You will review quotations and service contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and high-quality service delivery, with an approval autonomy of up to $7,000 for immediate works.
- **Regulatory Coordination:** Serve as the primary point of coordination with external consultants and authorities (such as SCDF, URA, and SFA) to ensure all fit-outs and maintenance activities comply with Singapore’s commercial and safety regulations.
- **Team Leadership:** Guide and develop a team of in-house technicians and facilities coordinators, fostering a culture of technical excellence and responsiveness.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in Facilities Management or Project Management within the Retail or F&B sectors, specifically managing high-traffic commercial sites.
- Proven track record in delivering end-to-end commercial fit-outs or renovations, from site handover to project closure.
- Deep technical understanding of specialized retail assets, such as refrigeration systems, cold chain logistics, and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s regulatory environment for commercial properties, including SCDF (MAA/FSC), SFA licensing, and URA requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of technical staff and coordinators.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD for reviewing and marking up technical drawings.
- Experience managing a diverse multi-site portfolio (15+ locations).
- An established network of reliable vendors and contractors in the Singapore retail/construction market.
