- **Role Overview**:
- As a Finance Support Executive, you will manage the financial heartbeat of our Singapore operations. This role is central to our day-to-day financial health, focusing on high-volume accounts receivable (AR) and bank reconciliations. You will ensure the accuracy of thousands of daily transactions while serving as a key administrative liaison for our corporate partners and government agencies.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **High-Volume AR & Reconciliation**: Manage the end-to-end reconciliation of 8,000 to 10,000 daily transactions. This includes matching POS sales and merchant settlements against bank statements to ensure 100% accuracy across our 19 airport stores.
- **Financial Reporting & Processing**: Perform bank statement reconciliations, back-end collection creation, and manage refund processing with high attention to detail.
- **Administrative Liaison**: Act as the primary point of contact for external parties, including banks (managing terminal arrangements and issues), insurance providers, the Company Secretary, and the Singapore Department of Statistics.
- **Operational Support**: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to verify, classify, and post accounting entries, ensuring all financial data in our proprietary system is accurate and up-to-date.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume bank reconciliations or accounts receivable functions, with the ability to manage large datasets accurately.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically using XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, and PivotTables to organize and analyze data.
- A meticulous and analytical mindset, capable of identifying and resolving discrepancies within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with banks and regulatory bodies.
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, or a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA).
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Prior experience in the Retail, F&B, or Travel Retail sectors.
- Proficiency in Power Query for data automation and cleaning.
