- **Role Overview**:
- We are looking for high-energy Retail Assistants to join our store teams across Singapore. This is a floor-focused role dedicated to sales, merchandising, and stock operations—allowing you to focus entirely on customer engagement and store presentation without the responsibility of cashiering or membership administration.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drive Sales & Customer Engagement:** Provide proactive and helpful assistance to customers by sharing product knowledge and features to help them find exactly what they need.
- **Visual Merchandising:** Organize and arrange merchandise in an appealing manner, ensuring displays reflect visual standards and effectively showcase new arrivals and promotions.
- **Inventory Management:** Monitor stock levels and proactively replenish shelves to prevent stockouts. Assist with receiving, inspecting, and labeling new merchandise to ensure accuracy.
- **Stockroom & Floor Operations:** Maintain a tidy and organized environment. Participate in stocktaking exercises and manage the return of damaged goods to ensure inventory integrity.
- **Team Collaboration:** Support the store leadership in daily operations to ensure a seamless and professional shopping experience for every visitor.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- **Effective Communication:** Proficiency in English to assist customers and collaborate effectively with the store team.
- **Retail Flexibility:** Ability to work a 5-day rotating roster, which includes working most weekends and Public Holidays.
- **Physical Stamina:** Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and safely lift and move stock cartons for replenishment.
- **Service Excellence:** A customer-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive work ethic.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level certificate or equivalent.
- Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or high-volume stock management.
- A genuine interest in books, stationery, or lifestyle products.
