Job Description

- **Location**: Quarry Bay, Hong Kong (Hybrid: 4 days onsite)

- **Role Overview**:
- As the Head of Group Digital and Technology, you will be the strategic architect of our "North Star" technology vision. This is a high-influence, individual contributor role focused on defining the multi-year modernization roadmap for our digital ecosystem.
- You will translate business priorities into robust, scalable technical frameworks, ensuring our platforms—including yuu Rewards and our global eCommerce engines—remain modern, secure, and resilient.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Define the Technology North Star:** Own the long-term technology strategy and principles for our digital platforms (web, app, commerce, and data layers). You will personally author the 24–36 month modernization roadmap.
- **Lead Architecture Governance:** Design and maintain target-state architectures for a complex regional ecosystem, including CRM, payments, and unified commerce. You will establish the architectural guardrails and technology standards (APIs, observability, CI/CD) that guide our engineering teams.
- **Strategic Stakeholder Partnership:** Act as the primary technology advisor to senior business and product leaders across multiple markets. You will facilitate critical trade-off decisions and build alignment on regional investment cases.
- **Drive Program Excellence:** Lead strategic initiatives from ideation through delivery. You will govern program health, manage vendor relationships, and ensure that architectural designs meet rigorous performance and security requirements.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Demonstrated experience in architecting large-scale, multi-market digital ecosystems, specifically within eCommerce, loyalty platforms, or high-volume marketplace environments.
- Proven track record of defining and executing multi-year technology roadmaps at a group or regional level.
- Deep technical proficiency in modern software architecture, including high-scale integrations, data flows, and secure payment systems.
- Full professional fluency in English is required for effective collaboration within a global group environment.
- Valid work authorization for the role's location in Hong Kong.
- A "builder" mindset with the ability to produce high-quality architectural designs and strategy documents independently.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Proficiency in Business Mandarin or Cantonese is highly preferred to effectively coordinate with regional stakeholders and navigate technical talent pools.
- Experience managing hybrid delivery models involving both in-house engineering and third-party vendors.
