- **Role Overview**:
- Join us as a Senior Mobile & MacBook Technician, where you will serve as a key technical expert and a mentor for our technical team. In this high-impact role, you will move beyond standard parts replacement to perform advanced, component-level motherboard repairs and act as a critical escalation point for our most challenging cases.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Advanced Motherboard Repair**: Independently perform high-precision micro-soldering, reballing, and IC replacements (Audio, Power, Charging) for mobile devices and MacBooks.
- **Expert Diagnostics**: Troubleshoot complex circuitry issues, including short circuits, boot failures, and liquid damage, to identify root causes and deliver reliable solutions.
- **Technical Leadership & Mentorship**: Act as a lead on the bench, guiding junior technicians and apprentices through difficult repairs and sharing best practices to elevate team performance.
- **Commercial Assessment**: Evaluate device conditions and repair risks to provide professional advice on whether a repair is technically feasible and commercially viable for the customer.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct rigorous post-repair testing to ensure all devices meet our strict quality standards, ensuring a "zero-comeback" experience for our customers.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Proven expertise in advanced IC-level motherboard repairs, including demonstrated proficiency in micro-soldering and component-level troubleshooting.
- Strong diagnostic logic with the ability to navigate complex schematics across iOS and Android ecosystems.
- Commitment to a 6-day work week schedule (11:00 AM – 9:00 PM), including weekends and public holidays, to support our retail operations.
- Proficiency in Business Chinese is required to effectively collaborate with our Mandarin-speaking technical partners and assist a significant segment of our customer base.
- A quality-first mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a disciplined approach to device handling.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in MacBook or laptop logic board repair.
- Prior experience in a high-volume "while-you-wait" retail repair environment.
- Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring technical staff.
