- **Role Overview**:
- As a Junior Mobile Technician / Technician Apprentice, you will join our "back-of-house" workshop team. This is a hands-on role designed for those who have a passion for electronics and a drive to learn a technical trade from the ground up. You will support the full repair lifecycle—from initial diagnosis and parts preparation to post-repair testing—ensuring every device meets our strict quality standards.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Perform Precision Repairs:** Execute basic repairs, including screen and battery replacements for various brands (Apple, Samsung, Android), following strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality.
- **Conduct Technical Diagnosis:** Assist in identifying hardware and functional issues (e.g., power, display, connectivity) and document findings accurately in our internal systems.
- **Quality Assurance & Testing:** Perform rigorous post-repair functional checks to ensure every device is fully operational before it reaches the customer.
- **Inventory & Workspace Management:** Prepare necessary parts for repairs, manage small components (screws, connectors), and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- **Escalation & Collaboration:** Recognize complex motherboard-level issues and escalate them to Senior Technicians, ensuring a high level of accountability and team coordination.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- **Excellent Manual Dexterity:** This role requires a high degree of precision and a steady hand to handle tiny screws and delicate internal mobile components without causing damage.
- **Schedule Availability:** Committed to a 6-day work week, including weekends and public holidays, to support our retail-paced operations (a day off in lieu is provided for working on public holidays).
- **Language Proficiency:** Proficiency in conversational Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with our technical team and understand internal technical memos.
- **High SOP Discipline:** A strong commitment to following exact repair procedures and reporting any mistakes or risks immediately.
- **Learning Agility:** A proactive attitude toward learning repairs for all mobile brands and devices beyond just one ecosystem.

- Prior experience (6-18 months) in a mobile repair environment or a background in manual technical work (e.g., PC assembly, electronics, or watch repair).
