- Join the founding team of the Blue Box Café as a Cook. Operating within a lean, disciplined brigade, you will be responsible for executing refined culinary techniques to meet the exacting standards of a luxury brand. This is a foundational role designed for a dedicated culinary professional looking to master their craft under the mentorship of industry-leading chefs in a high-visibility environment.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Maintain Meticulous Mise en Place**: Execute high-standard food preparation with precision, ensuring all components are perfectly prepped to support a seamless all-day dining service.
- **Station Management**: Take ownership of a designated kitchen station, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation for every dish served.
- **Luxury Service Execution**: Contribute to the assembly and plating of dishes with a focus on finesse and detail, upholding the prestige of the Tiffany & Co. and Julien Royer brands.
- **Operational Excellence**: Collaborate effectively within a lean team to navigate the rhythm of a high-volume, all-day dining environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Foundational knowledge of French culinary techniques, typically acquired through formal culinary education or a professional kitchen apprenticeship.
- Demonstrated technical discipline, including strong knife skills and a thorough understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
- High physical and mental endurance: This role involves managing the demands of all-day dining (covering breakfast through dinner) and requires the ability to remain focused and productive during long shifts in a fast-paced environment.

- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Prior experience or exposure to pastry and baking.
