As a founding member of this expansion, you will play a critical role in establishing our local footprint, identifying new opportunities, and building high-impact partnerships from the ground up. - **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drive Market Expansion:** Proactively identify, engage, and onboard Introducing Brokers (IBs) and retail clients within the Korean market to establish a robust commercial pipeline.
- **Build Strategic Partnerships:** Develop and maintain deep relationships with key market players, acting as a trusted advisor and effectively communicating the unique value proposition of our offshore trading platform.
- **Deliver Commercial Impact:** Achieve and exceed baseline net deposit targets, directly contributing to the team’s growth and the company’s regional success.
- **Navigate Market Dynamics:** Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities in the CFD/FX space to refine sales narratives and effectively overcome objections regarding offshore brokerage.
- **Contribute to Team Growth:** Work closely with global and incoming local leadership to transition the Korean operation from a pioneer phase to a structured, high-output commercial unit.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Demonstrated professional experience in business development or sales specifically within the CFD or Forex industry.
- Professional-grade fluency in Korean is required to build trust, effectively negotiate, and manage high-stakes relationships with Korean IBs and clients in the local market.
- Proven ability to source and close new business independently in a remote or newly established market environment.
- Working proficiency in English to collaborate effectively with global headquarters and regional leadership.
- A "builder" mindset—comfortable solving operational hurdles and maintaining high activity levels with minimal supervision.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Prior experience working with offshore brokerage platforms and navigating the associated sales narratives.
- An existing network of active Introducing Brokers (IBs) or clients within the Korean trading community.
- Strong understanding of the local FX/CFD competitive landscape and the nuances of the Korean regulatory environment.
