- **Role Overview**:
- As a Senior Presales Consultant for Commercial Lending, you will serve as the primary solution lead and "trusted advisor" for our major banking clients across APAC. Reporting to the Head of Presales, you will bridge the gap between deep commercial lending domain expertise and consultative solution selling to drive high-value enterprise engagements and shape the future of lending technology in the region.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drive Strategic Solutioning:** Lead end-to-end presales activities for complex commercial lending pursuits, from initial discovery workshops to final solution presentations.
- **Establish Trusted Advisor Status:** Engage confidently with senior banking stakeholders (including Credit Risk officers and Heads of Lending) to navigate credit workflows, underwriting processes, and risk governance, mapping their pain points to our solution capabilities.
- **Architect Solution Narratives:** Design and deliver compelling, business-focused solution narratives that demonstrate clear ROI and strategic alignment with a bank’s digital transformation goals.
- **Orchestrate Global Resources:** Act as the local domain lead for APAC, coordinating with global product and technical specialists to ensure the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive proposals and demonstrations.
- **Facilitate Smooth Transitions:** Partner closely with Enterprise Sales and Professional Services teams to ensure a seamless handover from the sales cycle to implementation, ensuring long-term client success.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Extensive experience in a vendor-side solution consulting or presales role, specifically within the lending technology space.
- Deep domain expertise in Commercial Lending Origination and Credit Assessment, with a practitioner-level understanding of credit workflows, underwriting, and approval processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead discovery workshops and high-stakes presentations for executive-level banking stakeholders.
- Proven track record of navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles within the financial services sector.
- A consultative, "builder" mindset—comfortable taking full ownership of deals in a lean, fast-paced regional environment.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Comprehensive understanding of the full lending lifecycle, including loan servicing and downstream operations.
- Familiarity with loan syndications and the specific needs of large institutional banking clients.
