- **Role Overview**:
- Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager, you will manage and expand our commercial presence across a "mixed maturity" APAC territory. You will be the primary commercial point of contact for our dealer and distribution network, responsible for maintaining established markets while actively hunting for growth in developing regions across Southeast Asia and North Asia.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drive Regional Sales Growth**: Manage and scale sales within assigned territories to meet and exceed growth targets, balancing account management in established markets with business development in "explorer" markets.
- **Manage Distribution Networks**: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with dealers and distributors, assisting them with forecasting and planning to increase overall sales volumes.
- **Lead Commercial Strategy**: Prepare sales quotations and product specifications, leading high-stakes capital equipment discussions and managing long industrial sales cycles.
- **Build Strategic Partnerships**: Develop and maintain strong contact with key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and acting as a trusted advisor.
- **Coordinate Cross-Functionally**: Maintain clear and timely communication with factories and aftersales teams to address technical matters and customer feedback promptly.
- **Market Intelligence**: Provide regional market feedback to help improve products and services; collaborate with Marketing on promotional activities, new product launches, and regional literature.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in industrial sales (typically 4-6 years), specifically within the heavy equipment sector (e.g., construction machinery, mining, or capital equipment).
- Proven track record in managing dealer or distribution networks across multiple countries in the APAC region.
- Proficiency in Business English is required to effectively negotiate with regional dealers and communicate with global internal stakeholders.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and self-discipline, managing a demanding regional travel schedule (frequent travel across APAC).
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge technical product capabilities and commercial value.
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent trade experience will also be considered.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Specific sales experience within the mobile crane industry.
- An existing network of dealers and distributors within Southeast Asia or North Asia.
- Proficiency in local languages/dialects relevant to the APAC region is an advantage for deepening regional relationships.
