- **Role Overview**:
- We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion in the Spanish market. As a solo market-builder reporting to our Australia-based Director, you will function as a "hunter," leveraging your existing network to drive immediate commercial velocity and establish a dominant presence for VT Markets in Spain.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drive Immediate Commercial Growth:** Focus on high-velocity sales and partner acquisition to achieve a minimum target of $150,000 in net deposits within the first 90 days.
- **Activate & Expand Partner Networks:** Successfully transition and activate a personal, portable portfolio of Spanish Introducing Brokers (IBs) and partners into the VT Markets ecosystem.
- **Manage Independent Operations:** Act as the primary "boots on the ground" in Spain, making independent judgment calls on partner deals and troubleshooting operational issues across time zones.
- **Strategic Pipeline Development:** Build and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline to ensure consistent monthly growth beyond the initial ramp-up phase.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner with regional marketing and client relations teams to optimize partner conversion and support local market initiatives.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- **Market Network:** A demonstrated, portable book of active Introducing Broker (IB) or partner relationships within the Spanish market that can be transitioned immediately to drive day-one results.
- **Industry Expertise:** Proven experience in a Business Development or Sales capacity within the CFD/FX industry, with a deep understanding of spreads, execution, and deal structures.
- **Commercial Track Record:** A verifiable history of hitting net deposit or revenue-based targets in a high-pressure, results-driven sales environment.
- **Language Proficiency (Genuine Occupational Requirement):** Native or advanced Spanish proficiency is required to effectively manage daily relationships and complex negotiations with local partners in Spain. Professional English proficiency is essential for internal communication with global leadership and cross-regional teams.
- **Self-Sufficiency:** Proven ability to operate independently in a remote, low-oversight environment, managing priorities effectively across different time zones.

- A multi-market European IB network extending beyond Spain.
- Experience utilizing CRM tools (such as Salesforce) to manage and forecast sales pipelines.
