- **Role Overview**:
- This is a high-stakes, ground-floor opportunity for a seasoned Business Development professional to spearhead VT Markets’ entry into the Nigerian market.
- As our first commercial representative on the ground, you will have the autonomy to architect our presence from absolute zero. Your mission is to establish a robust commercial engine by directly acquiring retail traders and building a high-performance partner network, paving the way for our long-term expansion across West Africa.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Spearhead Market Entry:** Act as the primary commercial lead for Nigeria, executing a comprehensive market entry strategy to establish brand presence and legitimacy in a new territory.
- **Drive Direct B2C Acquisition:** Personally identify, engage, and convert retail traders through proactive outreach, community building, and networking to drive measurable net deposits.
- **Build Strategic Partner Networks:** Source, negotiate, and onboard high-volume Introducing Brokers (IBs), managing these relationships to scale our reach and volume.
- **Champion the Value Proposition:** Effectively communicate VT Markets’ competitive advantages, navigating complex market dynamics and trust-building to convert prospects into active traders.
- **Autonomous Execution:** Manage the full sales lifecycle independently in a remote capacity, coordinating closely with global headquarters to ensure operational and compliance excellence.
- **Requirements**:
- **Core Requirements:**
* Demonstrated experience within the CFD or Forex brokerage industry is essential.
* A proven track record of consistently achieving high net deposit targets and successfully driving retail trader (B2C) acquisition.
* Must possess the legal right to work in Nigeria to support local market operations.
* Exceptional self-sufficiency with a "builder" mindset—comfortable operating as a solo contributor without local infrastructure.
* Strong proficiency in Business English with the ability to navigate complex commercial negotiations.
- **Preferred Requirements:**
* An existing, portable network of high-volume Introducing Brokers (IBs) within Nigeria or the wider West African region.
* Experience navigating market entry for offshore financial services within emerging markets.
