- **Role Overview**:
- As a General Marketing Specialist (internally recognized as Senior Marketing Executive), you will serve as the strategic bridge between our Regional Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur and our local operations in the Philippines. This is not a standard execution role; you will be the primary architect of growth strategies, synthesizing local market intelligence into actionable plans that align with global objectives.
- You will lead the charge in building B2C brand awareness and acquisition channels in a market that demands creative, "out-of-the-box" thinking due to unique regulatory landscapes.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic GTM Development:** Design and implement a comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) and growth plan for the Philippines, evolving our approach from B2B-heavy reliance to a robust B2C brand presence.
- **Creative Acquisition & "Phygital" Strategy:** Navigate restricted marketing channels by developing indirect acquisition engines, including educational content, community-driven "phygital" events (meetups, webinars), and strategic broker listings.
- **Regional-Local Synthesis:** Act as the strategic coordinator between the KL regional office and the local Philippine team, ensuring global strategies are culturally nuanced and locally resonant.
- **Data-Driven Performance Management:** Monitor and report on key acquisition metrics (such as FTDs and FTTs), translating data into insights that justify marketing spend and influence regional resource allocation.
- **Lifecycle & Retention:** Optimize the end-to-end user journey, developing mechanics to improve client retention and maximize long-term value on the platform.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- **Language Proficiency:** Native or near-native fluency in Tagalog is required to effectively derive deep cultural insights and create authentic content that resonates with the local Philippine audience. Professional working proficiency in English is required for regional collaboration.
- **End-to-End Marketing Expertise:** Demonstrated experience in managing the full marketing lifecycle—from strategic planning and budget management to execution and performance reporting.
- **Strategic Resourcefulness:** A proven track record of building acquisition engines in restricted or highly competitive industries where standard "paid playbooks" may not apply.
- **Analytical Rigor:** Proficiency in performance tracking and data literacy; ability to explain the "why" behind the numbers to senior stakeholders.
- **Mobility:** Ability and willingness to relocate to and work onsite in Kuala Lumpur (Work permit sponsorship provided).
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Experience in Fintech, Cryptocurrency, or the CFD/Forex brokerage industry.
- Prior experience navigating marketing within regulated or restricted industries.
