- **Role Overview**:
- We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented Cashiers to join our frontline team for our midnight shift operations. This role is essential to maintaining our 24/7 service standards at Changi Airport. You will handle high-volume transactions, manage multi-currency payments, and support vital logistical tasks, ensuring every traveler’s journey starts with exceptional service, even in the middle of the night.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Execute High-Volume Transactions:** Process point-of-sale (POS) transactions with speed and precision, accurately handling various foreign currencies and complex retail promotions while ensuring zero cash discrepancies.
- **Maintain Regulatory Compliance:** Strictly uphold legal standards by performing mandatory age-verification checks for all tobacco and liquor sales, ensuring 100% compliance with local regulations.
- **Support Logistical Operations:** Assist with "pick and pack" duties for I-Shop Changi and facilitate gate deliveries for specific international flights, ensuring seamless product fulfillment.
- **Deliver World-Class Service:** Act as a brand ambassador for Lotte Duty Free, assisting a diverse range of international travelers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a cashiering or high-volume retail role.
- **Genuine Occupational Requirement:** As this role involves the legal handling and sale of tobacco and liquor products, candidates must be at least 21 years old to comply with Health Sciences Authority (HSA) regulations.
- **Security Clearance:** Must have a clean professional record to qualify for the mandatory Changi Airport security pass.
- **Availability:** Fully committed to a fixed midnight shift schedule (9.5-hour shifts between 2100 and 0800), including weekends and public holidays.
- **Operational Stamina:** Ability to maintain high accuracy, integrity, and focus during graveyard hours in a fast-paced setting.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Prior experience in airport retail or high-traffic landside retail (e.g., major supermarkets).
- Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and tax-free retail processes.
- Multilingual skills to effectively assist international travelers.
