- **Role Overview**:
- Northland Controls is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the Project Management Office (PMO) in delivering global physical security system projects. You’ll coordinate schedules, manage documentation, communicate with clients, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. - **Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment documentation and information.
- Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
- Ensuring clients’ needs are met as project evolves.
- Coordinating and liaising with vendors to support project requirements.
- Assists in preparing action plans using resources from time and budget projects.
- Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget and with high quality standards.
- Assist in monitoring the project progress and respond to issues as they arise.
- Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Work with project and program managers to eliminate project blockers.
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenses/expenditures.
- Create and maintain project documentation, plans and reports.
- Ensure standards and requirement are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
- Other duties as assigned.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Demonstrated work experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar administrative support role.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
- Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Planner, Project).
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Effective organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.
