- **Role Overview**:
- Join VT Markets as our first dedicated Compensation & Incentives Specialist. Reporting to the Lead for Payroll and Compensation, you will be the technical "engine" behind our rewards strategy as we scale globally. You will bridge the gap between talent strategy and commercial performance by designing and optimizing variable pay programs across seven global regions, ensuring our rewards are competitive, equitable, and financially sustainable.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Design and Optimize Incentive Structures**: Take full ownership of designing, implementing, and refining variable pay and commission programs for diverse functions including Business Development, Marketing, and Client Success across all 7 global regions.
- **Lead Strategic Performance Cycles**: End-to-end execution of global performance review cycles, managing the technical mechanics of calibration, merit increases, and bonus pool allocation with high precision.
- **Drive Data-Driven Rewards Strategy**: Build sophisticated financial simulations and models to test incentive affordability, ROI, and behavioral impact, providing credible recommendations to Finance and senior leadership.
- **Ensure Global Governance & Scalability**: Establish and govern global compensation standards and job architecture (leveling and salary bands) to ensure pay equity and market competitiveness during rapid headcount expansion.
- **Partner as a Commercial Specialist**: Act as a key gatekeeper and advisor to leadership, identifying opportunities to improve reward efficiency and scalability while mitigating financial and compliance risks.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in the hands-on design and optimization of incentive, commission, or variable pay structures (beyond simple administration).
- Proven track record of owning end-to-end performance review cycles, including calibration and merit allocation.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to build simulations to assess the ROI and affordability of incentive plans.
- Deep understanding of compensation governance, including job leveling and salary benchmarking.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Experience in Fintech, financial services, or a high-growth technology scale-up.
- Prior experience managing compensation and rewards across multiple international labor markets.
- Familiarity with BI tools or building automated reward dashboards for executive decision support.
