Job Description

- **Role Overview**:
- As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of high-value fabrication projects, specifically focusing on E-House and substation solutions. You will lead the project lifecycle from engineering and procurement through to fabrication and delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget in a high-utilization facility.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **End-to-End Project Ownership**: Lead new projects from day one, managing the full lifecycle including engineering, procurement, fabrication, and final delivery to EPC contractors.
- **Cross-Functional Coordination**: Drive delivery by aligning engineering, procurement, fabrication, and QA/QC teams around strict project milestones, ensuring seamless collaboration across shared resources.
- **Budget and Cost Control**: Maintain rigorous discipline over the project’s financial health, specifically managing the Target Cost to Complete (TCC), variation orders, and cost reporting.
- **Stakeholder Management**: Serve as the primary point of contact for EPC clients, leading progress meetings and providing transparent status reporting to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
- **Onsite Leadership**: Maintain a strong presence at the Batam facility, managing local workforce supervisors and ensuring operational momentum is maintained on the shop floor.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in a lead Project Manager role, specifically within heavy industrial fabrication or energy infrastructure environments.
- Proven track record of managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery, with a focus on schedule adherence and budget discipline.
- Proficiency in Business English is required to effectively negotiate and manage status reporting with our international EPC partners and clients.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is required to effectively lead and coordinate with local workforce supervisors and fabrication teams within the Batam facility.
- Ability to work fully onsite in Batam, Indonesia, to oversee high-volume fabrication activities (KITAS sponsorship is available for eligible candidates).
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Specific technical domain expertise in E-House or substation fabrication projects.
- Prior experience working within the Singapore or Indonesia energy infrastructure markets.
- Strong experience in driving cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority.
