- **Role Overview**:
- As a Business Development Manager, you will be the primary driver of VT Markets’ expansion in the Italian market. This is a high-autonomy, "territory-owner" role where you will identify growth opportunities, build a robust partner ecosystem, and bridge the gap between market needs and our innovative CFD solutions. Reporting to regional leadership, you will have the freedom to own your results in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Lead Origination**: Proactively identify and originate new business leads, developing innovative strategies to capture and grow market share within the Italian CFD industry.
- **Partnership & IB Management**: Build and scale a high-performing network of Introducing Brokers (IBs) and Partners, maintaining deep, trust-based relationships to ensure long-term engagement.
- **Sales Pipeline Development**: Maintain a healthy and diversified sales pipeline by leveraging professional and industry networks to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly growth targets.
- **Market Intelligence**: Conduct periodic competitor analysis to stay ahead of market trends and identify strategic opportunities for VT Markets to capitalize on.
- **Business Support & Troubleshooting**: Act as the primary point of contact for partners and IBs, collaborating with internal global teams to resolve technical or operational issues promptly and effectively.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Demonstrated professional experience in the CFD brokerage industry, specifically within business development, sales, or partnership management.
- **Language Proficiency**: Native-level proficiency in Italian is a Genuine Occupational Requirement to effectively negotiate, build high-stakes relationships, and navigate the local business landscape. Proficiency in English is required for internal reporting and global collaboration.
- **Established Network**: A proven ability to activate and migrate an existing professional network of IBs and partners.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) to drive data-led sales initiatives.
- Must be currently based in Italy with the full legal right to work locally.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Proficiency in Spanish to support broader regional context.
- Previous experience managing a dedicated territory in a fully remote capacity.
