- **Role Overview**:
- We are seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Manager to lead our Thai market expansion from our regional hub in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will be the inaugural marketing leader on the ground, responsible for building the function from the ground up and driving client acquisition through innovative, non-standard marketing tactics in a complex regulatory landscape.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Establish the Marketing Foundation:** Architect the Thai marketing operational framework within the KL hub, building processes and workflows where none currently exist.
- **Drive Creative Acquisition:** Navigate restricted traditional advertising channels by developing and executing creative, performance-driven growth strategies, including influencer partnerships, community building, and localized media engagement.
- **Bridge Global and Local Strategy:** Act as the critical link between the Global Center of Excellence (CoE) in Singapore and the local Thai market, ensuring high-level campaigns are localized for cultural nuance without losing brand consistency.
- **Lead and Scale the Team:** Over the first 12 months, you will be responsible for hiring, mentoring, and leading a local marketing team in KL to drive measurable increases in product uptake and client engagement.
- **Optimize Market Performance:** Take full ownership of the regional strategy for Thailand, using data-driven insights to refine messaging and maximize first-time deposits (FTDs).
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Demonstrated marketing experience within the Financial Services, Fintech, or Brokerage sectors, with a deep understanding of regulatory sensitivities.
- Extensive experience in marketing leadership, with the proven ability to own a regional strategy and build a function from scratch.
- **Professional Fluency in Thai and English:** Proficiency in Business Thai is a requirement to effectively localize campaigns, engage with local media partners, and capture market nuances in Thailand. English proficiency is required for effective collaboration with regional leadership and the Global CoE.
- A results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving measurable acquisition and ROI in restricted or complex markets.
- Ability to work fully on-site in central Kuala Lumpur (5 days per week).
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Specific experience in CFD or Forex marketing.
- Prior experience in people management and team building.
- Strong background in digital and performance marketing.
