- **Role Overview**:
- We are looking for a Motion Graphics Lead to establish our in-house motion function in Kuala Lumpur. This is a hands-on "player-coach" role designed for a senior creator who can jump into a high-volume environment, clear an existing production backlog, and build a systematized workflow for a small, growing team. Reporting to the Creative Lead, you will be the founding authority for motion design, balancing daily production with the mentorship of two other designers.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Lead High-Volume Production**: Take immediate ownership of the motion pipeline, producing high-fidelity UI animations, product walkthroughs, and feature demonstrations that simplify complex trading features for our users.
- **Systematize the Workflow**: Establish a repeatable and efficient production process, integrating generative AI tools to multiply team throughput and maintain a consistently high quality bar.
- **Provide Creative Direction**: Act as the technical and creative lead for a small pod (including a junior and an incoming senior designer), providing mentorship, feedback, and setting the standard for all motion assets.
- **Support Global Marketing**: Collaborate with regional teams to ensure consistent, high-impact delivery of motion content across social platforms and our core trading application.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Demonstrated experience (typically 7–10 years) in motion design, multimedia, or creative production, with a proven track record of hands-on delivery in professional environments.
- A portfolio that demonstrates mastery of "product-motion"—specifically the ability to translate complex app interfaces and user journeys into clear, engaging, and polished animations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using generative AI tools (such as Kling, Magnific, or Higgsfield) within a professional production workflow to enhance creative output and efficiency.
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a strong bias for execution and meeting rigorous deadlines.
- This role is based fully onsite at our central Kuala Lumpur office to facilitate real-time collaboration with the local creative team; candidates must be currently based in Malaysia with the existing right to work locally.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a high-growth fintech environment or a fast-paced multimedia agency.
- Prior experience mentoring designers or managing small creative production teams.
