- **Role Overview**:
- We are looking for a Software Engineer (Front End) to drive greenfield web development for our enterprise and fintech clients. You will be deployed directly to client sites as part of a specialized TroyTech pod, building "bleeding-edge" React interfaces from the ground up. This is a role for a developer who thrives on variety, enjoys solving complex integration challenges, and takes pride in delivering high-performance UI for high-stakes environments.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Deliver Modern Front-End Solutions:** Architect and build responsive, high-performance UI components using modern React, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards of enterprise-scale applications.
- **Drive Greenfield Development:** Take ownership of building new applications from scratch, translating complex business requirements into functional code without loss of intent.
- **Bridge the Backend Gap:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure modern front-ends integrate seamlessly with complex enterprise back-end architectures (such as Java or IBM environments).
- **Manage Stakeholder Engagement:** Lead technical and business discussions with client stakeholders to clarify requirements, provide progress updates, and ensure technical alignment.
- **Execute with Precision:** Operate effectively within structured, client-led sprint cycles, maintaining high velocity and quality while navigating the shifting requirements typical of consulting engagements.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Demonstrated experience in React development (typically 3 to 8 years), with a proven track record of building greenfield applications.
- Advanced proficiency in English is required to effectively lead technical discussions and present solutions to senior business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build high-performance, "bleeding-edge" UI components that can be integrated into complex enterprise infrastructures.
- Exceptional adaptability; a "builder" mindset that remains productive and professional when navigating evolving project requirements or shifting priorities.
- Comfort working fully onsite at professional client environments (e.g., banks and MNCs) in Singapore.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Prior experience in a professional services, agency, or consulting firm.
- Domain knowledge in the Fintech, Banking, or Government sectors.
