- **Role Overview**:
- We are seeking an entry-level Process Engineer to join our 16-person engineering team. This role serves as a vital link between our technical documentation and the physical reality of the production floor. You will be responsible for ensuring production Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO) are managed with precision while providing hands-on troubleshooting support directly on the shop floor.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Maintain Production Integrity**: Manage and update the production BOM within the ERP system, ensuring all Engineering Change Orders (ECO) are processed accurately to prevent manufacturing delays.
- **Hands-on Troubleshooting**: Work directly on the production floor alongside technicians to diagnose, root-cause, and resolve machine issues, moving beyond theoretical analysis to implement practical solutions.
- **Regional Technical Coordination**: Act as a technical hub for regional operations, ensuring technical standards are aligned and communicated effectively with counterparts in China and India.
- **Process Optimization**: Collaborate with the wider engineering pool to shadow senior experts and gradually take ownership of complex technical processes and troubleshooting independently.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in Business Mandarin (spoken and reading) is required to effectively coordinate with regional counterparts in China and handle Chinese-language technical documentation.
- Professional proficiency in English to participate in technical meetings and manage correspondence.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a "builder" mindset, with a willingness to work hands-on in a production environment.
- High attention to detail, particularly regarding administrative accuracy and data management in ERP systems.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Prior internship or 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software for jig and fixture design.
- Basic exposure to CNC or precision machining technology.
