- **Role Overview**:
- We are looking for an "infra-first" Full Stack Software Developer to join our engineering pod. In this role, you will be the primary owner of our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment pipelines, ensuring our AI-powered features have a rock-solid, automated environment to live in. Reporting to a hands-on Principal Engineer, you will bridge the gap between application code and infrastructure architecture in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Own Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Design, implement, and maintain stable deployment pipelines and infrastructure standards using Terraform to support new and existing projects.
- **Full Stack Development:** Develop and ship high-quality features across the stack using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, ensuring seamless integration between the application and its cloud environment.
- **Drive Engineering Excellence:** Move AI capabilities (such as agentic workflows and LLMs) from prototype to production with high confidence, reducing manual overhead through automation.
- **Architect Scalable Systems:** Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to design clean API contracts and backend architectures that support our transition toward a product-centric model.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- **Genuine Occupational Requirement:** Due to specific project constraints and our involvement with Singapore government agencies, this role is open to Singaporean Citizens.
- Demonstrated experience in Full Stack development with proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong, hands-on proficiency in Terraform and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Proven ability to build and manage automated deployment pipelines.
- A "builder" mindset—comfortable context-switching between writing application code and architecting infrastructure.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Experience with Docker and containerization strategies.
- Familiarity with Next.js and modern backend architecture.
- An interest in or prior experience with AI, LLMs, or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Working knowledge of Golang, Ansible, or Kubernetes.
