- **Role Overview**:
- As a Claims Associate, you will play a critical role in the end-to-end administration of grant applications and financial claims. This is a high-volume, detail-intensive position where your primary objective is to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines. You will act as a key coordinator, verifying complex financial figures and proactively engaging with stakeholders to ensure all documentation is complete and submitted on time.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Meticulous Financial Verification:** Review and verify grant applications and financial claims against strict eligibility criteria, ensuring all figures are accurate and compliant to mitigate audit and regulatory risks.
- **End-to-End Application Tracking:** Manage the lifecycle of applications within internal databases, ensuring data is entered correctly and progress is tracked to prevent bottlenecks.
- **Proactive Stakeholder Coordination:** Act as a "chaser" by professionally following up with internal teams and external applicants to secure missing information and ensure timely submissions.
- **Adherence to SOPs:** Operate within a highly structured environment, strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain the integrity of the funding process.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- A Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with financial figures, either through academic background or prior experience in a finance-adjacent administrative role (e.g., Accounts Assistant, Operations Admin).
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically the ability to use VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables to manage and analyze data.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain accuracy while handling high volumes of documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English is required to coordinate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and ensure accurate documentation.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Prior experience in grant administration, funding operations, or a compliance-driven administrative environment.
- Experience working within a large, corporate, or regulated organization.
