- **Role Overview**:
- We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to join our expanding India-focused sales hub in Kuala Lumpur. In this high-velocity, autonomous role, you will be responsible for building an India-based network from the ground up. This is a "hunter" position designed for sales professionals who thrive on self-generating pipelines and building high-value, professional trust with international partners through digital and telephonic channels.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Partner Acquisition**: Identify, source, and onboard a robust portfolio of India-based Introducing Brokers (IBs) and high-value traders, managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure.
- **Revenue & Portfolio Growth**: Drive consistent growth in net deposits and trading volumes, ensuring your desk contributes significantly to the region’s market share.
- **Remote Relationship Management**: Build deep, professional rapport and legitimacy with partners in India remotely from our Kuala Lumpur hub, utilizing sophisticated communication and networking skills to bridge the geographical gap.
- **Market Intelligence**: Stay ahead of competitor offerings and industry trends to effectively position VT Markets’ technical value proposition, including our MT4/MT5 capabilities, to sophisticated partners.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in sales within the FX/CFD brokerage industry; a strong understanding of brokerage mechanics and financial products is essential.
- Proven track record in a "hunter" sales environment with the ability to self-generate 100% of a sales pipeline through proactive outreach.
- Advanced professional English proficiency for effective global reporting and internal collaboration.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and professional credibility remotely.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- Technical proficiency in MT4 and MT5 platforms to support partner onboarding and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Hindi is preferred to effectively engage and build rapport with partners and clients specifically within the Indian market.
- An existing, portable network of Introducing Brokers or traders is a significant advantage.
