- **Role Overview**:
- We are seeking the founding members of our commercial team for Laos. This is a high-priority, greenfield market entry where you will be the architect of our local footprint. Whether you are an industry veteran or a motivated individual looking to launch a career in fintech, you will play a critical role in proving the commercial viability of this emerging market from the ground up.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drive Market Entry**: Build the VT Markets brand from zero in the Laos market through local-language community engagement and trust-based relationship building.
- **Strategic Business Development**: Identify and acquire retail clients and Introducing Brokers (IBs), managing the full lifecycle of the relationship to drive consistent net deposits.
- **Leadership & Coaching (For Team Lead)**: Onboard, mentor, and lead a multi-tier team of specialists and trainees, ensuring collective targets are met while personally driving high-value acquisitions.
- **Cross-Border Collaboration**: Act as the primary link between the local market and our regional hubs in Singapore and Malaysia, coordinating with Marketing, Compliance, and Operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- **Stakeholder Management**: Navigate a fluid regulatory environment by providing credible, transparent communication to partners regarding our offshore trading propositions.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements**:
- **Language Proficiency**: Native-level proficiency in Lao is required to effectively build trust and communicate with local community stakeholders and partners in the Laos market. Functional proficiency in English is required for coordination with our regional headquarters.
- **Industry Expertise**: Demonstrated experience in the CFD/Forex brokerage industry is required for Team Lead applicants and strongly preferred for Specialist roles.
- **Proven Track Record**: A verifiable history of meeting or exceeding commercial targets (net deposits) in finance, fintech, crypto, or banking sectors.
- **Leadership Experience**: (For Team Lead) Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a sales or business development team.
- **Resilience & Drive**: A "hunter" mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in a remote or hybrid environment without a pre-defined local playbook.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements**:
- An existing network of Introducing Brokers (IBs) or active traders within the Laos market.
- Experience in business development for offshore financial products in emerging markets.
- A relevant degree in Finance, Economics, or a related business field.
