- **Role Overview**:
- As the Regional Marketing Manager for the Vietnam market, you will be the foundational marketing leader for this priority expansion region. Reporting to both the Country Manager and Global Head of Marketing, you will own the end-to-end marketing strategy for Vietnam. Your mission is to build a high-performing acquisition engine from the ground up, navigating a complex regulatory landscape through creative, community-led growth and localized digital strategies.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Establish the Vietnam Market Playbook:** Design and implement the foundational marketing framework for Vietnam, defining how global brand strategies are localized to resonate with the local trading community.
- **Drive High-Impact Acquisition:** Lead the charge in driving First Time Deposits (FTDs) and market share growth. Because standard financial advertising is restricted, you will master non-traditional channels—including KOL partnerships, Zalo communities, and TikTok—to engage Vietnamese traders.
- **Strategic Channel Ownership:** Act as the subject matter expert on the Vietnamese digital ecosystem, managing localized campaigns and ensuring all activities are optimized for commercial outcomes like ROI and conversion.
- **Bridge Strategy and Execution:** Serve as a "player-coach," remaining hands-on in executing campaigns while building the workflows and processes required to scale the function as the market matures.
- **Cross-Regional Collaboration:** Work closely with global leadership to ensure regional execution aligns with global standards while advocating for the specific needs and nuances of the Vietnamese market.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Proficiency in Business Vietnamese and English is required to effectively localize marketing content, negotiate with local partners, and collaborate with regional leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, with a focus on delivering measurable impact, including at least 3 years of deep expertise specifically within the CFD, Forex, or brokerage industry.
- Proven track record of navigating acquisition in restricted regulatory environments, with deep knowledge of the Vietnam-specific digital scene (Zalo, TikTok, KOL networks).
- A commercial, results-obsessed mindset with a focus on measurable metrics such as FTDs, deposits, and retention.
- Ability to work 5 days a week onsite in Kuala Lumpur.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Demonstrated experience in a "build-from-zero" environment or as an early marketing hire in a scaling fintech.
- Prior experience in people management or the ability to lead and mentor a growing team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies in real-time.
