- **Role Overview**:
- We are seeking our founding Talent Delivery Lead to establish and scale our resourcing function in Kuala Lumpur. This is a unique "player-coach" opportunity where you will act as the bridge between our proprietary AI platform and high-stakes recruitment delivery. Reporting to the Commercial & Partnership Director, you will have the autonomy to build delivery methodologies from the ground up while personally driving placements for key leadership and growth-sector mandates.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drive End-to-End Recruitment Delivery:** Execute full-lifecycle recruitment for mandates provided by the Business Director, ensuring high-quality shortlists and successful placements within target timelines.
- **Build Proactive Talent Pipelines:** Leverage Persevio’s AI-native platform to map markets and build ready-to-hire candidate pools for growth sectors such as Banking, Industrial Manufacturing, FMCG, and Energy, even before active mandates arise.
- **Champion AI-Augmented Sourcing:** Act as a power user of our in-house AI recruitment tools, applying expert human judgment to validate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure superior candidate matching.
- **Expand Full-Desk Operations:** Identify and develop new client relationships, managing the entire commercial process from business development to offer negotiation and closing.
- **Establish Delivery Standards:** As the business scales, you will document repeatable delivery processes and eventually mentor junior recruiters to maintain high performance across the function.
- **Requirements**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Extensive experience in agency recruitment, with a proven track record of managing a successful billing desk and delivering against consistent placement targets.
- Demonstrated ability to build talent pipelines from scratch in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- A tech-forward mindset with a genuine interest in using AI tools as a force multiplier in recruitment.
- Strong professional communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Business Mandarin is required to effectively manage client relationships and engage with candidates within Mandarin-speaking market segments.
- A self-starting, builder mentality—comfortable working with high autonomy and creating structure where none exists.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- A background that combines both agency recruitment and in-house Talent Acquisition experience.
- Deep networks or sector expertise in Banking, Manufacturing, FMCG, or the Energy sector.
- Prior experience or a strong appetite for mentoring and developing junior recruitment talent.
