- **Role Overview**:
- We are launching a new internship program and seeking our first Product Tester Intern in Malaysia. In this role, you will be the primary gatekeeper for the quality of our AI conversation flows. You will put our AI through its paces, identifying subtle nuances in tone and logic to ensure a seamless experience for users. This is a 6-month, full-time internship (minimum 3-month commitment) with a genuine path to a permanent role for those who demonstrate exceptional performance and a passion for our mission.
- **How You'll Make an Impact**:
- **Quality Assurance of AI Flows:** Conduct rigorous manual testing of AI-driven recruitment conversations. You will identify where the AI may miss context or produce an inappropriate tone, ensuring the platform remains professional and effective.
- **Produce High-Stakes Documentation:** Create precise and actionable QA reports. These reports serve as the primary reference for our engineering team to resolve issues and ship quality code, making your written clarity essential to our development cycle.
- **Drive Testing Discipline:** Maintain the systematic discipline required to run through repetitive workflows thoroughly, ensuring no edge cases are missed before a product release.
- **Operate with Autonomy:** In our lean startup environment, you will take ownership of your daily testing tasks, proactively identifying bugs and prioritizing your efforts to support the team’s goals.
- **What You'll Bring to the Team**:
- **Minimum/Core Requirements:**
- Currently enrolled in the final year of a degree program (graduating within the next ~12 months). This requirement is specific to our structured internship-to-hire pipeline.
- Advanced proficiency in written English. This is a genuine occupational requirement, as you will be responsible for producing high-stakes technical documentation that serves as a key reference for a remote engineering team.
- A meticulous and curious mindset. You have a natural instinct to "poke at things" to find where they might break and notice small details that others might miss.
- Strong self-direction and the ability to stay productive in an environment with high autonomy.
- Ability to work full-time and onsite at our Malaysia office for the duration of the internship.
- **Preferred/Bonus Requirements:**
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior exposure to software testing or manual QA processes.
- Familiarity or a strong interest in AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs).
